Full Movie Andhadhun

Today we have another of the recommendations that we have taken from the programming of the last Nits Festival of Cinema Oriental, and not only that, but the absolute winner of all the awards thanks to its good work and its surprise. It is an Indian film called Andhadhun, quite far from the typical commercial Bollywood that we all know and much closer to some more serious thrillers that we have seen in the latest editions of this festival. The truth is that it is not a very extreme film like the ones we usually like, but it is considered that it is original enough in all aspects to surprise us and become something prominent in Asian cinema that we have seen this year.

 Andhadhun
We start with a beautiful love story
We can not tell you much about the story for not wanting to reveal any spoiler, but it all starts with a blind pianist who meets a girl with whom they immediately like; She even offers him work at her father's restaurant. So the pianist is doing very well, with a girl by his side, a job to earn money, a half-length composition for a contest ... AND HERE WE BEGIN WITH THE SPOILERS, just the right ones to introduce you ... What nobody knows is that in fact, he is not blind, but he does see it to "in theory" have more inspiration; So, not only is a problem being sought with the girl, but at a critical moment, she witnesses something she shouldn't and, starting from that event, it starts to complicate the thing to unsuspected limits.

The truth is that at the beginning of the movie (except a somewhat confusing initial scene), we didn't find anything from the other world, we even feared that we were about to see the typical romantic comedy of entanglements, since everything is too beautiful and typical of this genre, with a moving story, a very consistent music and some protagonists about to fall in love in a moment; but it is precisely that beginning that makes you freak out at the moment of the turn, with completely unexpected events and nothing in line with what has been seen so far; That scene is brutal, not only for the change, but for how well done it is, combining the most classical music with a beast-like scene with almost no background sound. And from that moment, everything goes uphill, not only in intensity, but also in surprise, with some plot twists that no one would have expected and some scandal situations, typical of the most macabre and bloodiest thriller possible.

 Andhadhun
 The plot is complicated
In addition to the impact that the film can produce both visually and psychologically, we must admit that cinematographically it is a pure delight, with a very well thought out script and all very well spun, an address that makes you can see on screen only what the director is interested in , showing half scenes and leaving out of them many elements that we will see later and that will make us understand many situations that perhaps we had overlooked.

The music also accompanies a lot at all times, it is not a Bollywood-style music, with commercial songs and bailongas and video clips inserted with a shoehorn in the middle of the plot, but rather looks for a somewhat classic music, with jazz touches, almost all played on piano as a tribute to this instrument and shows that almost any feeling can be expressed with it.

All this orchestrated by Sriram Raghavan (Badlapur) that we believe is going beyond every work we see, introducing here also some black humor and an ending that leaves the viewer's mind open, which makes the film much more complete.

In short, an amazing thriller far removed from the concept we all have of Bollywood; a film that will keep you in the armchair in each of its seconds and that will keep turning your heads with a thousand turns of the script.
 The best of the movie:
Those details that you do not notice and later you realize how important they are.

 The worst of the movie:
The truth is that we found it very round.
