The man who feels no pain is an Indian film that at first we thought would leave us standing with an action of those disproportionate, but that turned out to be a good comedy with a lot of action involved. Forget about the most classic concept you have of Bollywood cinema, this one is very different, it does not look like mustache films giving cheeks from the south, or the romances of Mumbai, but it has a bit of each.

A very funny story
The story is that of a child born with a disease for which his nerves cannot feel pain; Because of that he has many problems, since he is not afraid of anything and does not even know when he is injured, but he knows a very strong and brave girl with whom they make very good friends. The union of the two causes them to become insurmountable, but also for that reason they make it a lot, much more when they start watching movies of kung fu and a kumité in which a lame one defeats 100 opponents. Due to an accident, their parents end up separating them and imposing discipline on them, but their destinies are linked and when they grow up they will meet again precisely thanks to this lame fighter; She is stuck in a very formal life, but it helps him escape his routine, and he is a dreamer who wants to become a great fighter. The two will try to help the lame fighter fight against a mafia that has him frightened and thus the three will undertake a very personal crusade.
What we liked most about the movie in general is how it permeates today's pop culture, from superhero movies and comics, to the martial arts classics of Hong Kong, all over Hollywood movies, music from all over the world. type and even some of the most popular references in India; all this united in a story that, although in general it has already been seen other times, it is recognized very original by the way of being told and by all the details and freaks that are added in each part of the story.

With perfect characters, very eccentric, but all with defects that compensate their virtues, to give a touch not of realism, but of identification with any of them, with their dreams or their agonies; So not only do we have a protagonist, but they are all in their measure, including grandfather.
With a way to tell the story very original, mixing good flashbacks, VHS scenes, sung numbers, dreams, fight scenes ... which makes the film not only more fun, but it gives it a unique and very agile rhythm.
And after praising her so much, really few bad things we can say about her; just that if someone wants a well-made movie, forget a bit since it is rather something thug, that you have to take a joke and go to see it with the intention of just laughing. Nor are the action scenes very large, do not expect to find spectacular choreographies or very good actors in the matter, although the director solves it so that they are very resultonas and the final fight has given us quite a great joy especially for how it is filmed, even if they get to jump what would be the most interesting part.
The director of the film is Vasan Bala, who until now had written scripts for films like Bombay velvet or Raman Raghav, but it is his first job as a director and it seems a very good surprise.
In short, a fun movie, very original and with a perfect rhythm that even happened to us too fast; Not suitable for lovers of the good hundred or the most classic Bollywood cinema, but very enjoyable for all who have an open mind.
The best of the movie:
We have fallen in love with the perfect villain, although in the end it was a failure.
The worst of the movie:
To our liking it is very complete and fun, nothing bad to say about her.
