A tough uncle
The film does not have a very complicated plot, it all starts with the murder of a great leader of the mafia that controls almost the entire city of Waaji, a very prosperous city outside India, but very affected by the country's politics and trade with this. After his death, two people dispute being his successor, his son and the son of his lieutenant, both with great ambition, but with the obligation to return money invested by the partners of this mafia. On the other hand, the Bombay police investigate a bank robber and for this they have an infiltrator who knows the world of crime very well; he will create an investigation team with some police officers and the agent he likes (to try to link her up) and they will follow the thief in various investigations until they hit him and with what will be his next hit, which turns out to be a bank in the They have a black box used to open the vault of the mafia boss who died at the beginning, and where it is believed that all his fortune is hidden. From here the thing is complicated and everything begins to change with respect to what we have seen, but we leave it here without spoilers.
Although it is a mainly action movie, in it we can see a little of each genre, as it usually happens with most of this type of movies; In addition, being a film from South India, as we will have some small variations with respect to the typical Bollywood such as a much more excessive action and an excessive appearance of moustached brunettes, but do not worry, it is not one of those so traditional This is much more modern and here they have left a budget in style.

Romance (but without going over)
As always, we have the film divided into two very clear parts (in India with a break between the two and everything); In the first one, we are told about the situation and this part would become a fairly conventional police / mafia thriller, with a couple of cases that are gradually linking each other, with very bad bad guys and some policemen doing their job well (we take I miss the local corrupt cops ...), with a moderate investigation plot, but well brought, with some action, but without going over, with a story of romance between the protagonists, etc. that is, everything that makes a movie for all audiences without missing a large number of video clips. We expected a strong change between the first and the second part, but even on this occasion the typical "Intermission" has been replaced by a "It's showtime!" And has given way to a completely different movie in which there is only pure action, more and more to the beast and making a thousand unexpected script turns, not very logical or justified, but only to deconcentrate the viewer and based on flashbacks and explanations, but the truth is that it has left us crazy.
When we talk about such a powerful action it is because we see it difficult to overcome in any movie, not only because of how well it is done (thanks to Peng Zhang) but also for having almost an hour and a half without stopping for a second, for integrating everything type of action scenes: from fights, to car chases, shootings, explosions, etc. for paying tribute to the action of different referents (Mad max, Fast and furious, Ironman…) and for doing it in the most spectacular and bestial way possible.
To all this we have as protagonist Prabhas (Baahubali) with a somewhat more modern look, but that is still a coon brute; and Shadra Kapoor (Baaghi, Ek villain) with a much dumber role and little (typical of Indian cinema).
In short, a film from South India, but it has the budget and all the blockbuster elements of a Bolllywood blockbuster, but maintaining the brutality and the impudence of the less commercial films in the area. If the action goes without consent, you will love to discover it.

Again, thank you very much to Lighthouse Distribution for bringing us the most recent releases of Indian cinema to our country, it is an initiative that we adore, especially when it comes to extreme films of those that we like so much (even some will have been able to see it in a spectacular 4D).
